Our Story
From the Founders
Kitaya was founded by brothers Tanay and Yash Goyal, based in Alwar, Rajasthan. They set out to bring genuinely good Assam tea into everyday life: kadak in taste, strong in colour, the kind of chai people actually want at home.
Every leaf is sourced directly from Assam’s gardens and blended in-house, then tasted by the company’s own master tea tasters before it is packed. Tanay and Yash believe tea has the power to bring people together, creating a sense of collectiveness that reaches across cultural, regional and social lines.
